Small Groups are a great way to connect with others while learning more about God. We currently offer 14 small groups with new small groups being added every year. We use a model of multiplication and discipleship to accomplish God’s vision for EBC of “fearlessly multiplying followers of Christ.” Our small groups leadership model uses a leader, an apprentice leader and a host. We are a group of twenty somethings trying to figure out life as we follow Jesus Christ.

We meet at 7:11 on Sunday nights at 31 South Bay Avenue in Eastport.

Here’s what we do…

2.) We meet once a month to serve our community
3.) We meet once a month to enjoy a fun night with each other

Young at Heart is a Seniors group open to anyone over the age of 55.  This group meets up at various times throughout the year for trips and parties.  They enjoy lots of laughs and make many wonderful memories together.

Youth Group, or EBCYG as we call it, is for students in Jr. and Sr. High. We meet every Thursday night from 7:00pm-9:00pm for hangout time, games, worship, lesson time and small groups. We also have events on the First and Third Fridays of the month. Our goal is for our students to know that we Value them, that God loves them and that there is a great plan and purpose for their lives.

PROGRAM RUNS YEAR ROUND

Hangtime is a free after-school program that meets every Wednesday from 3:30pm-5:30pm. This program is for kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. We offer homework help, snacks, and sports, skills and craft workshops. We end each week with a Bible lesson and Small Group time. This program is open to our entire community and is free! We even offer after school pick up from both Tuttle Avenue School and Eastport Elementary.

Pioneer Girls is a program for girls from 3rd Grade thru 6th Grade. We meet on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm and during this time the girls participate in singing, games, craft projects and Bible exploration. Our goal is to provide a fun atmosphere where the girls can enjoy each other as well as receive solid training in Bible principles and application. Stockade Boys is for boys in 3rd through 6th Grade and meets every Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30pm.  The weekly Stockade meeting involves games, activities, achievements, and an emphasis on the Bible through stories and scripture memorization. Also, throughout the year there are special group outings such as a boat trip and island adventure, visit to West Point hockey game, and a three day camping trip.

EBC Kids is for children in Preschool through 6th Grade. It meets every Sunday from 10:15am-10:45am during the sermon time of our Worship Service. It is the perfect place for your child to grow in their faith as they learn more about God and the Bible.
